I rather liked this video. Some of the local twitter-ers may as well. It's a good explanation of why Twitter is a fun and kind of addictive web application. This is along the lines of the RSS feed video explain in plain English that I linked to before.

I've been following the rise of Twitter but I guess it's not for me. My first though is that it was like a blog of instant messages (which I hate). I just don't get why I would need to document my day between blog posts or email.
Twitter adds yet another layer of screen time when really we all could use less screen time and more life time.
Maybe I'm missing something.
