Street vendors

Mary and I had our first dinner from street vendors tonight. All told it cost us 96 baht. That's about $2.80.

You can see the large wok/griddle she used to make our pad thai. From another cart we had fried dough things and brought everything up to the hotel room (these carts were right across the street from the hotel).

Our dinner was packaged up in coated paper, and packaged with limes, chili powder, sugar, and a pair of chopsticks.

It really was one of the best pad thais I've had: simple, straightforward, and oh so tasty. We'll be doing this a lot more often!
