This weekend we'll be up in the great Woodinville Wine country for Passport Weekend. Thinking ahead, 11 of us have rented a van which will shuttle us from winery to winery while we get our fill of wine and cheese.
We did passport weekend the same way last year and had a blast. And now with the sun predicted for today ... it's going to be a great Saturday.

Woodinville Wine Tours
Saturday, I got away from T-town to participate in the Woodinville Passport Weekend, where a single pass and a glass get you in to practically every winery in the area.
A group of 8 of us hired a van to take us around to the wineries. The guy had done it before so he helped up pick the wineries. Of the 28 wineries on the list, we hit up 11 in the 5 hours they were open. 11 tastings in 5 hours takes it toll ... but that's what the van was for.
I recommend: the Monolith at Arlington Road Cellars. But JM Cellars, Matthews, and Page seemed to everyone to be the best overall wineries we went to. It was a really great weekend. And you can bet I'll be doing the wine tour next year again. It was awesome.
Cool that so many vineyards (and so many good ones) are so close to home!
